Measuring coding seems to be easier, because the metric seems to be more evident:

  • How much code is contributed?

  • How well is the test coverage?

  • How many projects are delivered?

But there are proper questions to answer to measure your work as a leader:

  • Do you create leadership opportunities?

  • Do you plan goals for your teammates?

  • Do you trust your teammates they do their job in which they are great?
